DICE grundades 1992, då under namnet Digital Illusions och startade sin bana med att släppa flipperspelen Pinball Dreams och Pinball Fantasies.

Innan DICE blev DICE och släppte Battlefield-titlar och Mirror's Edge så hette de Digital Illusions (DICE står för Digital Illusions Pinball Dreams är ett virtuellt flipperspel utvecklat av det svenska datorspelsföretaget Digital Illusions. Spelet finns bland annat utgivet till Commodore Amiga, Företaget Digital Illusions (numera kallade för Dice) och deras helt sanslösa debutspel Pinball Dreams.

Sequel to Pinball Fantasies, Pinball Illusions is the last game in Digital Illusions' trilogy of pinball games and they finished it off with a bang! =) The conversion of the AGA-only Amiga game was done by Frontline Design, and as with Pinball Fantasies they did an excellent job with it.. The game features three tables, namely Law n' Justice, Babewatch and Extreme Sports.
